Most people looking to buy a stove for their boat or camper want to also be able to cook on it, so it’s definitely a benefit of the Pipsqueak. Other retailers used to import the Pipsqueak into the US, but I don’t think anyone does anymore (let me know in the comments below if they do).

I have a suspicion that the pipsqueak is no longer available, which would be sad as it was quite a unique stove.

I personally love the look of this little wood/coal burner and it has tons of character! The cast iron construction will last for years and it's a great conductor of heat. The rear flue exit allows the entire top of the stove to be used as a cooking surface. We had a Hobbit stove fitted this week by Alex Reay from Flues and Fires, and I just wanted to get in touch to say it is AMAZING and we love it! Windy Smithy also makes some beautiful little burners (no relation or commission!) which I use in my Bell Tent, they cost more but can be closed down and stay lit all night which is an important feature in winter.Now there are a lot of great US brands selling small and tiny wood stoves, so it’s probably not economical to be bringing over heavy items like the Pipsqueak anymore.
